What are VGI tokens?
Each impact sector has its own specialized token on the XRP Ledger (blockchain). VGI tokens represent tokenized ecosystem services and are issued on demand once real, verified environmental impact has been created. They are the liquidity currency of the VerdantGrounds ecosystem: investors finance environmental projects, NGOs implement them, and once the ecosystem service is delivered, the corresponding sector-specific VGI token is minted. The individual investment proof for investors is secured as an immutable NFT certificate on the blockchain.
